The documents that follow have been reproduced by word processing and digital photography from newspaper accounts of the 1980 Mack Lake Fire. Where a newspaper may offer as a headline that the fire was “State set” or that the Kirtland’s Warbler winters in the “Bermuda” islands...it was reproduced as offered in the actual edition.
The accounts offered in these several newspapers can be used to augment the pre-study resources in order to prepare for participation in the Mack Lake Fire Staff Ride.
